757soccer.com came about when one day in late June of 2006.  I was looking at different local soccer club websites/pages and the idea to create my own soccer website that would encompass all of these different soccer entities was simply one of those 'a-ha' moments.  My thinking expanded to wanting to include as much about local soccer as I could!

November 1, 2006 - was my start date so to speak!

Incorporating video highlights from players of all ages seemed to be a natural progression, given that I am pretty handy with a video camera.  As suspected, the videos were very well received!  I have personally videographed nearly 1000 goals, probably since that time!

My name is Michael McDermott and I am the creator of 757soccer.com!  Ever since I was eight years old (my dad was in the Air Force and stationed in England), I have had a tremendous passion for the 'beautiful game!'  

It is that same passion that keeps me striving to do more with this website.  I feel very fortunate that this same passion has been passed onto my children!  They are very good players in their own right and it has been very gratifying to see them grow and develop with the sport!
